Rosell Fenner

 

[b 2 Nov. 1845 at Ashland, Ohio; d 30 Nov. 1917 at Alliance, NE]. Rosell (or Rozell) enlisted in the Army in Ohio at age 16 and served in the Civil War. He moved to Illinois after he was discharged. Rosell met Merica there, and on 22 Feb. 1866 at Reading, Illinois, he m America “Merica” Ellen Chritton [b 22 May 1846 at Attica, IN; d 15 Nov. 1920 at Alliance, NA]. After Harris was born, the family moved to Alliance, NE, where most of them stayed.

  1. Edwin Elsworth [b 17 Nov. 1866; d 30 Aug. 1942]; unmarried.

  2. Dora Drusill [b 16 June 1868; d 1 Sept. 1868].

  3. Ellen Evleen [b 2 Nov. 1869; d 22 Aug. 1959] m Frank Johnson and moved to Lincoln, NE. They had three children.

  4. Maryette [b 5 May 1875; d 25 Jan. 1952] m — Hughes.

  5. Leonard R. [b 21 Feb. 1878; d 5 Sept. 1895], unmarried.

  6. Chester Franklin [b 27 Aug. 1880] m Effie May Rodgers.

  7. Wilbert [b 17 June 1882 in Iowa; d 26 Dec. 1889].

  8. Delbert [b 26 July 1883; d 6 Oct. 1883].

  9. Harris [b 1 Aug. 1885; d 10 Aug. 1885].
