Rhobe Fenner
[b ca. 1769; d 29 Sept. 1798 in her 30th yr. at Cranston] Rhobe (or Robey) Fenner m Lowrey Fenner (or Lorey, Lora) [b ca. 1764; d 8 June 1831]. Lowrey’s parentage is unknown, while Rhobe is usually assigned as a daughter of William and Christian. “Lora Fenner” was registered for the Revolutionary War on 4 July 1781 in Rhode Island. Lowrey’s will in 1810 named Prudence as an heir. After Robey’s death, Lowrey m 2nd Harriet Burton [b ca. 1767 at Providence, RI; d 14 July 1835], daughter of William Burton Jr. and Huldah —, ca. 1800. Harriet had a son, Sterry, from her previous marriage, and he was adopted as a Fenner. The younger Harriet was apparently also adopted, although sometimes she is credited as a child of Rhobe and Lowrey.
At Scituate, Mrs. Rhobe Fenner, wife of Mr. Lora Fenner, in the 30th year of her age. She was confined for ten years by a painful disease of the scrophulous kind, attended with deep seated ulcers, contractions of the sinews, and caries of the bones, which rendered her life an affecting and unparalleled scene of human misery. She supported her illness, to the last, with patience and resignation, and cheerfully met death, in full confidence of a happier state of existence beyond the grave, free from bodily pain and infirmity, in “a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

[b ca. 1847 at Warwick, Kent, RI; d aft. 1870 census] and Annie E. [b June 1852 at Warwick, Kent, RI; d aft. 1930 census].
