[b ca. 1470s; d 1553 at West Hoathly, Sussex] John Fenner, son of John and Joan Fenner, married Katheryn Watson. He left a will dated 25 March 1553, probated 17 April 1553, in which he apparently had no heirs, leaving everything to Katheryn.

In the name of God amen In the yere of our lorde God j. v. liij. the xxvth day of marche I John Fenner of the p[ar]yshe of westhothlygh in the countie of sussex husbondma[n] beynge of p[er]fyght remembrannce God be thanked do ordeyn & make this my p[re]sent Testament & Last wyll in man[ner] & Forme Folowynge, Fyrst I bequeth my soule to allmyghtie God and my bodye to the earthe, to be buryed within the churche yarde of westhothleygh aforsayd. It[em] I gyve & bequeth to my wyffe Katheryn all my lands & ten[amen]ts callyd Gosses th’appertinance For & durynge all the terme of her lyff naturall, and to have as moche woodd for her sewell as shalbe necessarye (withowte doynge of any voluntarye or wyllfull stryppe or wast) And also to have & take yerly upon the p[re]misses besyde the sayd sewell, so moche woodd as may make iij Louds of coole / Also I gyve & bequeth to the same Katheryn my wyffe all the Resydue of my goods as well moveable as unmovable, my detts Fyrst pays, my fun[er]all charge & my Legacyes p[er]formed, whom I make my sole & onely executryx of this my sayd Testam[en]t & Last wyll, And I ordeyn & make George Watson my brother my sup[er]vsor & ov[er]seer of the same wyll & Testam[en]t, And he to have for his Labour & paynes vjs viijd dated the day & yere Fyrst abovesayd & wrytten.
