Jacob Fenner

 

[b 10 Jan. 1869 in Halifax Co., NC; d 26 Apr. 1956 at Scotland Neck, NC] Jacob “Jake” Fenner, a farmer, 1st Lula (or Louisa) Battle [b 1872], daughter of Ned and Adaline Battle, on 26 Dec 1889 at Nash, NC. They evidently had no children. He m 2nd Ella Demory [b 1878] on 25 Dec 1895. In 1910, they were counted in Conocanary, Halifax, NC, with six children. He m 3rd Clara Hilliard [b 1884; d 3 June 1936 at Enfield, NC], daughter of Alex Crowell, on 20 Dec. 1933 at Enfield. After Clara’s death, he m 4th Narcissa Jones, daughter of Henry and Clara Arrington, on 23 Dec. 1936.
