Herman Louis Emmons Jr.

Greene, m Elwelda Ethel Seybert [b 15 July 1901; d 3 Dec. 1982 at Kalamazoo, MI], daughter of Henry L. and Ida Seybert, on 28 Nov. 1918 in St. Joseph, MI. They divorced. Ethel m 2nd Donald Snow before 1940.

Herman L. Emmons, Jr., 77, of 219 Burr Oak St., Kalamazoo, died in his home Sunday afternoon. He was born July 27, 1899, in Sisson, Calif. The family moved to Mendon later and he graduated from Mendon High School in 1918. He had served as a baker in the U.S. Army in both World War I and World War II. Most of his adult life was spent in Kalamazoo. Surviving are two sons, Donald and Robert, and a daughter, Mrs. George (Mary) Voce, all of Kalamazoo, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
