Henry Edgar Fenner
[b 7 Aug. 1872 at Alfred, NY; d 18 Feb. 1967 at Shinglehouse, PA] On 2 Mar. 1895, Henry m Nina May Locke [b 3 May 1876; d 1970], daughter of Charles and Mary Costen Locke. Edgar made cheese at his father’s McHenry Valley Factory. He and Nina both attended Alfred University, then moved to Coneville, PA, where Edgar was postmaster and owned a general store. He then moved to Cameron, NY, and had a hardware business for six years, likewise for three years in Alfred, NY. In Alfred, Edgar and Nina were members of the First Seventh Day Baptist Church. At the time of his retirement, Edgar had been owner of a general store in Shinglehouse, PA, for 28 years. He was also president First National Bank of Shinglehouse for 16 years. Edgar and Nina attended the Methodist Church in Shinglehouse.
