[b 17 Apr. 1838 at Alden, Erie Co., NY; d 30 Dec. 1924 at Alden, Erie, NY] Elmira (or Almira, “Minnie”) M. Fenner m Frederick Vine [b 16 Apr. 1830 in Norfolk, England; d 11 Nov. 1909 at Alden, Erie Co., NY], son of William and Mary Vine, in 1859. Fred was baptized 30 May 1830 in Hindringham, Norfolk, England. He immigrated to the U.S. with his family in 1836. He registered for the Civil War draft. In the U.S., Fred was a farmer. They are both buried in Alden Evergreen Cemetery, Alden, Erie County, NY.

  1. Nellie Vine [b 2 Nov. 1859 at Alden, NY; d 5 Apr 1950 at Alden, NY] m Joseph Staebell [b Mar. 1855 in NY; d after 1899], son of Antony and Mary Eva Staebell of France, 10 Apr 1887 in Millgrove, NY. Nellie appears in U.S. Presbyterian Church records. They had Frederick J. [b Sept. 1888; d 1974] and Florence [b July 1891; d 8 July 1956].

  2. James F. Vine [b Oct. 1870 at Alden, NY; d 1936 at Alden, NY], a butcher, m Minne E. Hanson [b 1873 in Germany; d 1953 at Alden, NY] 21 Aug. 1892 in Alden, NY. They had William F. [b Aug. 1893; d 1948] and Lester J. [b Nov. 1895; d 27 Dec. 1963] who m Marian S. —.
