[b 24 Mar. 1844 at Sherman, Chautauqua, NY; d 16 August 1926 at Westfield, NY] Byron Fenner m Julia Thayer [b 5 May 1844 at Mina, Chautauqua, NY; d 24 Feb. 1938 at Westfield, Chautauqua, NY], daughter of Ichabod Thayer and Fidelia LaDue, on 10 Nov. 1868. Byron Fenner was a chemist whose work became a standard reference for pharmacists in the United States. He published Fenner’s Formulary in several editions, Fenner’s Working Formulae, and he edited the Formulary and Druggist’s Magazine.
